    Owww!

Theory shot down in dust. Remember we decided that the reason Psi Corp didn't suck out Sheridan's mind was that he was immune to teeps?

Well, tonight's ep, the ep after The First Ones go beyond the rim, that snake Bester scans Sheridan. Sheridan even says that Bester scanned him, but couldn't scan Lyta at end of ep...

Drat, drat, and double drat. I hate plot holes.

I have to disagree, it is not a plot hole. Earth Force cannot use a telepath because they need Sheridan to confess publicy. If there is a telepath in the audience who scans Sheridan and finds that he has been mucked with, the public confession becomes invalid. The interragator (sp) says this pretty early on in the episode "Intersections in Real Time".

It had nothing to do with the fact that Sheridan could not be scanned and everything to do with the fact that the scan would have been noticed an hence useless. Leaving Earth Force with one option, torture, to get Sheridan to confess.

Clark and Bester had separate agendas. I'd bet Clark and PsiCorp didn't know about the teepsicles on B5. That was Bester going in opposition to the Corps for luv!

As far as usful info. Sheridan was the President of the Alliance. He had more than enough useful info in his little pinky to make sucking out his brain worthwhile. He was the chief strategist for the Alliance. He knew a majority of the players. Key people, locations, etc. Who in Earthforce was helping him... Clark was a paranoid bastard, I accept that everyone won't agree with me on this, but I see no logical reason that they wouldn't have scanned Sheridan. And I do think that it is a inconsistancy that Bester can Sheridan, but later on the enhanced Lyta can't.

    Just my $1.50 wink

    Hi Azziz,

Doesn't the ISN reporter expose the Teepsicles to the entire galaxy on tonight's followup ISN episode?

I do believe your right. However, ISN makes it look like they are doing mad science experiments on them.

True, Psi Corp has many talented telepaths but there are plenty of strong ones, like Byron, running about. More then strong enough to know that someone mucked with Sheridan and that the confession was invalid.

Remember, Besters lady friend was a blip who was a P12 and compatible with Bester. It was the reason he was trying to get her to join the Corp, because then they could get married and have a legal life, kids and all.

If Sheridan was broken, it had to be in such a way that people could not say he was forced to by a telepath.

I never got the impression that Lyta could not read Sheridan's mind. I did get the impression that she cannot control him in the same way she could control the others.

Crash, thats right. When , in a later ep, she basically controlled all those around her at the Zocolo, she wasn't able to control him.
